Navy and Blush Wedding with Clean Lines, Chicago, IL │ Erin + Ross

Erin and Ross’ navy and blush wedding day was a tasteful and elegant design mixed with natural elements. Candles and natural light cast warm glows creating a romantic ambiance. Delicate florals and a short-sleeved bridal gown added a vintage nod to the event.

Like many modern couples, Erin and Ross met online – they swiped right on Tinder! Two years later, Ross proposed in their newly renovated kitchen in their Palos Heights home.

Once again Danielle Heinson took the most gorgeous photos! We love working with this sweet photographer! Can’t you just feel their laughter and love radiating through these photos?!

Erin’s bouquet was a rounded, hand-tied design with a variety of textures ranging from soft classic blooms of white and blush ranunculus, roses, and astilbe to rosette-like succulents and seeded eucalyptus. Her bridesmaids glowed in blush floor-length gowns with matching clutch bouquets with handles wrapped in navy silk ribbon. The sweet flower girls has baskets filled with rose petals and delicate floral crowns.

Ross and his groomsmen had boutonniere’s with soft white ranunculus, a touch of astilbe, and finished with silk ribbon. The mothers wore a wristlet corsage of soft and creamy blush miniature garden rose finished with navy chiffon ribbon.  For the church we went with minimal decor, placing lush greenery bouquets at every other row which we then repurposed for the escort card and gift tables along with adding mercury-gold votive candle holders.

The guest table centerpieces were varied but cohesive. One style was a gold oval vase filled with a bed of greenery spilling over the edges and highlighting the focal flowers – hydrangea, roses, dahlias, stock, and just a touch of delicate clematis vine. There was also a similar design in a taller gold footed vase balanced by a duo of clear stemmed candle holders and floating candles. And for the third style, there was also an elegant design with an artistic composition of eucalyptus softening the hardscape of cylinders of varying heights filled with white pillars. Each table was elevated with the warmth and romance of gold mercury votives and candles.

Thank you to Erin and Ross for having us “floralize” your beautiful day. It truly is an honor to have worked with such an amazing couple. Wishing you a million years of happiness!

XOXO
~Magda
