Guess what day it is?!?! That commercial is so annoying, but it did its job, stayed stuck in our heads! Well, for us at ZP land, it’s Wedding Wednesday, and I can’t WAIT to show off this beauty. Sarah and Matt had a fabulous, rustic wedding last fall.
Their day brought a lot of doubt with the weather, but there was NO DOUBT this was going to be an amazing wedding! A beautiful outdoor ceremony at Centennial Park in Chicago. The scenic backdrop of this venue is incredible, you couldn’t have asked for a better view. There was a bit of sprinkling during photos, but that just brings good luck and makes for cute umbrella shots, which I adore.
Sarah wanted rustic romance, so we brought in vintage wine barrels topped with lush arrangements. Along with tying in the wine elements, the barrels were the perfect way to decorate the ceremony and reception. The escort cards were an ingenious idea! We also love the sweet love notes and advice for the couple in lieu of a guest book.
The blooms were nothing short of romance. Cafe au lait dahlias, ranunculus, roses, hanging amaranthus, arching snapdragons, and greenery of eucalyptus. The plum, sage, and blush color palette played off the beautiful plum bridesmaids dresses impeccably. Let’s give some snaps to the dapper look of Matt, with his rustic boutonniere. I was absolutely guided by the beauty of the florals picked for Sarah’s bouquet. I love when the blooms speak to me! And how great is her reaction to seeing her florals come alive? Esther Gallarday always catches such fun shots!
Aren’t Sarah and Matt such a lovely couple? Sarah absolutely oozes joy and radiates love in each photo. Happy brides are always the prettiest. Of course, it helps that she’s stunning to start with, but we just love Shannon of Fringe Salon, she makes everyone feel beautiful!
Thanks to all the vendors who worked so hard to make this a beautiful wedding. And thanks to Sarah and Matt for allowing us to “floralize” your wedding.Wishing you all the best for years to come!
